W_O_M_A_N...... this is how I was created

By the time the Lord made woman, He was into his sixth day of working overtime. An angel appeared and said, “Why are you spending so much time on this one?" And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart -and she will do everything with only two hands.

The angel was astounded at the requirements, "Only two hands!? No way! And that's just on the standard model? That's too much work for one day”.

“But I won't”, the Lord protested. "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can work 18 hours in a day."

The angel moved closer and touched the woman. "But you have made her so soft, Lord."

 The Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

 "Will she be able to think” asked the angel. The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate."

The angel then noticed something, and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one”. “That's not a leak”, the Lord corrected, “that's a tear."

 "What's the tear for?" the angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride."

The angel was impressed. "You’re a genius, Lord. You thought of everything!"

 Woman is truly amazing. And SHE is! Women have strengths that amaze men. They hold happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They don't take no for an answer when they believe there is a better solution. They go without so their family can have. They love unconditionally. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart. Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN....IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

GOODBYE.... STEVE JOBS (Stephen Paul Jobs 1955-2011)

Aug. 24, the world was surprised by Steve Jobs’ quitting from APPLE. In his speech, he said “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. They already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”  Referring to his genius invention, “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected. You have to trust in something -- your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down..."

Oct. 5, less than 2 months after his untimely resignation, he passed away. Apple announces his death without giving specific cause. But some news channel says, he's been treated of a rare form of pancreatic cancer. It could be recalled that 2008 speculations spread that he was suffering from an unidentified illness causing his severe weight loss. In 2009, Jobs said he has a treatable hormonal imbalance and announced for a medical leave but stays the Apple's CEO.

The whole world today is in shocked and saddened by Stephen Paul Jobs' death at the age of 56. Prominent personalities expressed their thoughts over twitter.

He had no formal schooling in engineering, yet he's listed as the inventor or co-inventor on more than 300 U.S. patents. He invented and masterfully marjeted ever-sleeker gadgets that transformed everyday technology, from the personal computer to the iPod and iPhone.

Well then, it is true that life is too short especially on him. He died too soon even before he could enjoy his hard earn fortune. To MR. STEPHEN PAUL JOBS, may you rest in peace. We could not thank you enough for sharing your genius mind. As you said, "STAY HUNGRY. STAY FOOLISH."

Customer Service Officers in the Philippines have undergone a 2-day Customer Service Excellence Training conducted by Singapore’s Customer Service Manager SANDRA O. held in Jotun Philippines Office.

In the course of training, Sandra reiterated the importance of customer service excellence. It is very important to know and understand who and what the customer wants. Customer satisfaction is achieved through continuous development in providing service quality not just by one personnel but by the whole team.

Customer Service Officers deal with customer more often through telephone conversation, e-mails, instant messaging (chat) and the like. Seldom have we met clients personally. Thus, it is very important to create a positive perception by displaying professionalism and confidence in our tone of voice and by choosing appropriate positive words and phrases to reduce misunderstandings.

Handling complaints is also discussed in the training. Complaints are often disguised as service opportunities to win over customers.

Order handling process (local & overseas supply), intercompany pricing conditions, exploring join, DD data base & service complaints data base were also tackled.

However, the training was not purely a sit down event. During lunch, the participants (divided into two groups) were asked for a presentation to play as customer and as a service provider. It was fun yet so many things have been learned.
